  • Tie Summary

New Zealand are hoping to bounce straight back into Asia/Oceania Zone Group I after falling in October's second round relegation play-off against Chinese Taipei.

Standing in their way are Lebanon who, despite losing all three of their previous ties against the Kiwis, will be keen to make life difficult for their Antipodean hosts.

Last year, Lebanon retained their place in Zone Group II with a comfortable victory over Pacific Oceania but they will be up against it if they are to topple the No. 1 seeds in this group.
