Chinese Taipei host Indonesia in an Asia/Oceania Zone Group I Relegation play-off with both teams desperate to stay up for 2014. History is against Chinese Taipei as Indonesia have won all 5 of their previous meetings, most recently in 2000.
Chinese Taipei lost 5-0 to China in their 1st Round play-off, leaving them fighting to avoid relegation to Zone Group II. Unfortunately, they could only win three sets from the five rubbers they played as China eased past them. They will be looking to produce a better performance against Indonesia.
Indonesia also lost their 1st Round play-off 5-0. They came up against a strong, experienced India side who did not relinquish a set during the tie. Indonesia will be looking to Christopher Rungkat to lead their charge against Chinese Taipei.
