  • Tie Summary

An all-Scandinavian affair between neighbours Sweden and Denmark will dictate which one of these two nations contests Europe/Africa Zone Group I and which one Zone Group II next year.

The Swedes have won all six of their previous match-ups against Denmark and they will be hoping to not only maintain that run but to also avoid dropping into Zone Group II for the first time in their history.

Sweden lost a close tie against Slovak Republic in September, which was decided in the fifth rubber, meanwhile Denmark was defeated 5-0 by Romania in its last outing in April.
