Aussie tennis legend Lleyton Hewitt defeated Farrukh Dustov 64 64 62 to give Australia a 2-0 lead at the end of the opening day.
Chris Guccione partnered Hewitt to defeat Dustov and Istomin 63 76(5) 62 to give Australia an unassailable 3-0 lead in the tie. Sam Groth and Nick Kyrgios won the dead rubbers to complete the 5-0 whitewash.
