    India advanced to the World Group play-offs after a win in a tricky away tie against Korea, Republic. Straight sets wins for the two nations' No. 1 players (Somdev Devvarman and Yong-Kyu Lim) on the first day was followed by a hard fought win from Rohan Bopanna and Saketh Myneni to leave India with advantage going into the reverse singles. Lim ran Devvarman close but ultimately the Indian player was able to grind out the win in four sets to give his team a chance of returning to the World Group after a three-year absence.
