Group II Americas 3rd Round

The deadline for official team nominations is 10 days before the tie begins.

Tie preview

Barbados host Mexico with a place in Americas Zone Group I in 2015 up for grabs. The Mexicans romped to a 5-0 victory without dropping a set on the only previous occasion that these teams met, an Americas Zone Group II second round clash in 2012.

Mexico defeated Peru in a tight clash in Puebla in the second round. Miguel-Angel Reyes-Varela was the hero, as he won both of his singles rubbers and contributed to the doubles victory partnering Santiago Gonzalez, as Mexico won 3-2. Meanwhile Barbados overcame El Salvador with Darian King winning all three points, as the Barbadians benefitted from an injury to El Salvador's No. 1 Marcelo Arevalo.
