  • Tie Summary

A confident Chile team outplayed Paraguay to ensure that they would remain at this level for the 2015 competition. All four Chilean team members contributed to the victory, with Gonzalo Lama and Christian Garin winning singles rubbers on the opening day, before Jorge Aguillar and Paul Capdeville sealed the victory with a straight sets doubles win on the second day. The result means that Paraguay make an immediate return to Zone Group III after not winning a live rubber in this year's competition.
