    Kuwait recorded its second win over Indonesia to advance to the next round of the competition. Mohammad Ghareeb and Abdullah Maqdes both won their singles rubbers to leave Kuwait in a strong position after the first day of play. Indonesia hit back in the doubles, with Elbert Sie and David Agung Susanto recording a straight sets win to take the tie into a third day. However, Susanto could not make the most of this momentum, as Maqdes won comfortably to send Indonesia to a relegation play-off in April.
