  • Tie Summary

Kuwait recorded its second win over Indonesia to advance to the next round of the competition. Mohammad Ghareeb and Abdullah Maqdes both won their singles rubbers to leave Kuwait in a strong position after the first day of play. Indonesia hit back in the doubles, with Elbert Sie and David Agung Susanto recording a straight sets win to take the tie into a third day. However, Susanto could not make the most of this momentum, as Maqdes won comfortably to send Indonesia to a relegation play-off in April.
