  • Tie Summary

A strong team performance proved the key for Bosnia/Herzegovina as it saw off Greece in Sarajevo to advance to the second round of this year's competition. Mirza Basic recorded an easy win in the first singles match, before Markos Kalovelonis upset Bosnia/Herzegovina's No.1, Damir Dzumhur, in four sets to leave the teams equal at the end of day one. A vital win for Basic (playing with Tomislav Brkic) in the doubles gave Bosnia/Herzegovina the momentum going into the final day, but Dzumhur almost squandered the opportunity, going two sets down to Jakupovic before staging an impressive comeback to win a thrilling match and the tie for Bosnia/Herzegovina.
