Lithuania will travel to Bosnia/Herzegovina in September with both teams looking to win promotion to Zone Group I for the first time. The two nations have never met at this level before, their three previous encounters coming at the round-robin stage of Zone Group III events; Lithuania lead the head-to-head 2-1.
Bosnia/Herzegovina survived a thrilling fightback from a Finland team that found itself 0-2 down after the first day of play. After wins in the doubles and first reverse singles, Juho Paukku held match points against Bosnia/Herzegovina's Mirza Basic, but was unable to capitalise on them, and Basic turned the match around to seal Bosnia/Herzegovina's progress. Lithuania, meanwhile, came through a gruelling encounter with South Africa, which was also decided in a live fifth rubber, as Laurynas Grigelis defeated Ruan Roelofse in four tight sets to claim victory.
