  • Tie Summary

With world No. 15 Grigor Dimitrov among their ranks, the Bulgarians started this tie as heavy favourites, and Dimitrov did not appear to suffer at all from the pressure to deliver that was placed upon him. After a straight sets triumph for Dimitrov was complemented by a four set win for Dimitar Kutrovsky, the two combined in the doubles, recording a comfortable victory which put the tie beyond doubt. Greece did recover some pride, with Alexandros Jakupovic winning one of the dead rubbers on Sunday, but it was not enough to prevent relegation back to Zone Group III for 2015.
