ASTANA, KAZAKHSTAN:Denis Istomin felt that luck was on his side today as he speaks to our journalist Clive White in Astana. Istomin won a five set battle against Evgeny Korolev 63 46 62 06 63 which lasted over three hours.

Korolev, who is slowly climbing back up the rankings after an injury, was pretty pleased with his performance although disappointed not to be able to secure the first point for Kazakhstan in this opening match against Uzbekistan.
