TOKYO, JAPAN: Amir Weintraub has once again defied his ranking to help Israel to a famous Davis Cup victory over Japan.

The Israeli won both his singles rubbers this weekend and he feels he has proven that he has the ability to go on and compete with the best players in the world.

His captain, Eyal Ran, looks back on a fantastic tie and reflects on what it is about Davis Cup that brings out the best in his players.
