Belgium and Israel's Davis Cup by BNP Paribas World Group play-off will be contested on a Thursday, Friday and Sunday in September after both nations agreed to a date change.

The amendment to the usual dates of Friday, Saturday and Sunday (13-15 September) enables the Israeli team to observe Yom Kippur, which takes place on Saturday 14 September this year.

The format for the tie will remain the same, with two singles rubbers being played on Thursday 12 September, followed by the doubles on Friday 13 and the reverse singles on Sunday 15.

A similar approach was taken in 2010 for a tie involving Israel and Austria, which Israel lost in a decisive fifth rubber.
