When Janko Tipsarevic fell to his knees at the Belgrade Arena after clinching the decisive fifth rubber against Canada's Vasek Pospisil, there were shades of memories from the 2010 Davis Cup by BNP Paribas World Group semifinals.
That year it was the same player who won the key point in the same venue at the same stage of the competition. That year Serbia were crowned champions.
It might be too early to make comparisons with 2010, but this year's World Group semifinal against Canada will live long in the memory.
A tussle that ebbed and flowed right till the end finished with both players falling to the ground - one in pain and the other in pleasure - as Serbia booked its place in the year-ending showpiece for the second time.
