Bermuda recovered from the disappointment of defeat against Puerto Rico in its first tie of the week to see off a spirited Trinidad & Tobago team in Humacao on Tuesday.
Gavin Manders and Vaugh Wilson played an epic first rubber with many twists and turns, but Manders eventually pulled through, winning 63 57 61 in two hours and 14 minutes to put Bermuda 1-0 up.
And David Thomas made sure of the result with a 62 62 victory against Javier Jovani Lewis in the second rubber, before Neal Towlson and Jenson Bascome sprinted through the doubles rubber, winning 61 61 to complete a perfect day for Bermuda.
Meanwhile, the home fans had plenty to cheer about, as Puerto Rico consolidated its lead at the top of Pool B. Gabriel Flores Ruiz and Alex Llompart Filardi both won their second singles matches of the week in straight sets to give the Puerto Ricans an unassailable lead against Jamaica.
And Llompart Filardi teamed up with Gilberto Alvarez to win the doubles 62 64 to seal a second successive 3-0 victory for the hosts, who are well on track for an immediate return to Zone Group II.
On Wednesday, teams from both Pool A and Pool B are in action.
