France have secured their place in September's Davis Cup by BNP Paribas World Group semifinals.

Richard Gasquet, Gael Monfils and the doubles pair Tsonga/Llodra won the required three points that gave them a ticket to the semifinals. The French have now won 18 consecutive live rubbers against Germany in a record dating back to the 1953.
