Any nicknames and why?
“Fatty”, since I was a child. I don’t need to explain why.

If you weren’t a tennis player, what would you be?
I would be a volleyball player or an accountant.

Which website do you check the most?
I don’t spend much time on the internet. Mostly I take a look at the newspapers so I can be informed about my country while I am travelling.

What do you regard as your biggest achievement in tennis?
Anytime I am part of the Davis Cup team and recently reaching the doubles final at Roland Garros.

If a movie was made about your life, which actor would you want to play you?
I would say Bruce Willis. He’s one of the best actors.

What do you do when you’re not playing tennis?
Enjoy time with my family and friends, go out a little, play football.

Where is your favourite holiday destination?
Beach is what I like the most.

What is the best Davis Cup atmosphere you’ve played in?
Parque Roca, in Buenos Aires.

Who is the most famous person in your phone book?
David Nalbandian, I suppose. I don’t think I have anybody out of the tennis world.

If you were singing karaoke, what song would you pick?
“La Cabaña”, from the Argentine group La K’onga. The rhythm is called “cuarteto”, it’s typical from the Province of Cordoba, in Argentina.

Do you have any pre-match rituals?
Not exactly. I use the same shower during the previous days before my first match.

What was the last music you downloaded on iTunes?
I am not listening too much music right now. I couldn’t tell.

If you could pick three people from history to have dinner with, who would they be?
I really don’t know, it’s so hard to say.

What has been your best Davis Cup moment?
This year’s first round doubles match against Romania, partnering Chela.

And your worst Davis Cup moment?
When we lost against France, in Lyon, in last year’s semifinals. That was a very difficult moment.

Tell us something about Eduardo Schwank that we don’t know…
I don’t think it’s a secret, but I love to eat Argentine “asado”.
