Australia faces an away trip to Chinese Taipei

LONDON, GREAT BRITAIN: Australia has been handed an away tie against Chinese Taipei following the draw for next year's Asia/Oceania Zone Group I, which took place at the ITF headquarters today.

Japan will host Indonesia, India play at home against Korea Rep. and Uzbekistan will be on home soil against China P.R. in the group's three other first round ties.

The draw for Europe/Africa Zone Group II also took place, with top seeds Finland having an away tie against Bulgaria and No. 2 seeds Portugal hosting Benin.

The Zone Group ties in 2013 will be played over three main weekends during the year, with an additional fourth weekend being used if required. The dates are: 1-3 February, 5-7 April, 13-15 September and, if required, 18-20 October.
