The ITF has announced the four venues for the Davis Cup by BNP Paribas World Group quarterfinals on 6-8 April.

Spain will host Austria at the Marina d'Or resort in Oropesa del Mar, Castellon;  France will host USA at the Monte Carlo Country Club; Czech Republic will host Serbia at the O2 Arena in Prague; and Argentina will host Croatia at the Parque Roca in Buenos Aires.

Spain v Austria

- Venue: Marina d'Or
- Location: Oropesa del Mar, Castellon, Spain
- Surface: Outdoor clay

The Spanish Tennis Federation (RFET) has selected the tourist resort of Marina d´Or in Oropesa del Mar, Castellon as the venue for the quarterfinal between Spain and Austria.

The tie will be played on an outdoor clay court, the usual choice of the Spanish Davis Cup teams for their home ties.

The Marina d´Or resort, built on the shores of the Costa del Azahar in the Mediterranean sea, is home to the biggest sea water spa in Europe.

France v USA

- Venue: Monte Carlo Country Club
- Location: Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, France
- Surface: Outdoor clay

This blockbuster clash will be staged in the idyllic setting of the Monte Carlo Country Club, which also plays host to the Masters 1000 event a fortnight later. It's the first time that France have played a Davis Cup tie at the venue.

France and USA have one of the oldest Davis Cup rivalries having first met in 1905. The Americans are currently edging the head-to-head series 8-7 after they won the most clash in 2008.

Playing at home has often proved crucial in this fixture. In fact, only twice has the away team escaped with a victory - USA winning 4-1 in Grenoble in 1982, and France winning 3-2 in Philadelphia in 1927.

Czech Republic v Serbia

- Venue: O2 Arena
- Location: Prague, Czech Republic
- Surface: Indoor tbc

Czech Republic have selected the O2 Arena in Prague to host this intriguing clash with Serbia. The only previous Davis Cup tie at the venue was in 2007 when the Czechs edged past Switzerland 3-2.

The O2 Arena, formerly known as the Sazka Arena, was built in time to host the World Ice Hockey Championships in 2004, and has since held various other major sporting and music events, including concerts with Sting and Lady Gaga in 2010.

The only previous meeting between Czech Republic and Serbia was in 2010 when the Serbs triumphed 3-2 on their way to being crowned champions for the first time. However, before becoming independent nations the two teams met nine times as Czechoslovakia and Yugoslavia. The overall head-to-head score is level at 5-5.

Argentina v Croatia

- Venue: Parque Roca
- Location: Buenos Aires, Argentina
- Surface: Outdoor clay

Argentina will take on Croatia in the familiar surroundings of the Parque Roca in Buenos Aires. The hosts have never lost a tie at the clay court venue and will be favourites to extend that run in this fixture.

The Parque Roca was officially opened in 2006 for Argentina's 5-0 victory over Australia and there have since been a further eight ties held at the multipurpose venue. It has a capacity of over 14,000 and is renowned for generating one of the best atmospheres in Davis Cup.

Argentina and Croatia only seem to meet at this stage of the competition with their two previous ties against each other, in 2002 and 2006, also coming in the World Group quarterfinals. The Argentines triumphed on both occasions.
