OROPESA DEL MAR, SPAIN: Nicolas Almagro reflects on his defeat of Jurgen Melzer in the Davis Cup by BNP Paribas World Group quarterfinal tie. Cited as "my best Davis Cup match", the Spaniard made a mockery of windy conditions, to overcome Melzer in straight sets 62 62 64.

It was a constrasting day for captains Alex Corretja and Clemens Trimmel. Trimmel backs the three Cs - crowd, confidence and clay - as the key to Spain's 2-0 delivery on Friday and hints at a change of nomination for the doubles on Saturday in order to keep Austria's hopes alive.

With Marc Lopez reporting a back injury, there could be a change in the Spanish camp too.
