BRUSSELS, BELGIUM: Belgium are the overwhelming favourites to win the Davis Cup by BNP Paribas World Group play-off tie against Sweden in Brussels this weekend, but are aware of the pressure they face.
Captain Johan van Herck and singles players David Goffin and Steve Darcis are relishing the opportunity to get back among the elite 16 nations in Davis Cup but are aware of the upsets that the competition can bring.
Belgian No. 1 Goffin is playing in just his second Davis Cup tie after a fantastic run of form which saw him reach the round of 16 as a lucky loser at Roland Garros and climb to world No. 56. However the Swedes are hoping the inexperienced youngster may feel the pressure.
The two teams last met 16 years ago and the captains, who were both involved in the tie look back fondly on their memories.
