GIJON, SPAIN: Spain's Davis Cup captain Alex Corretja has called David Ferrer a gladiator and a warrior after Ferrer sealed the victory for Spain with a 67(3) 63 64 62 win over John Isner. Corretja has also said that they're ready for the final, regardless of where it is.

David Ferrer spoke about the "unbelievable" atmosphere that helped him win his 16th home rubber in a row, continuing his perfect record. He also praised his opponent Isner, who gave him a tough match.

Juan Carlos Ferrero also gave his thoughts on the Davis Cup and said that it has given him a lot of important moments over the years and has helped him gain experience.

Elsewhere, USA captain Jim Courier reflects on a successful year for his team and John Isner looks forward to the 2013 draw, where he is hopeful he will be handed his first home tie.
