OROPESA DEL MAR, SPAIN: Spain once again showed that they are the kings of clay as they wrapped up a 3-1 victory against Austria thanks to David Ferrer's confident performance versus Jurgen Melzer.

The Spanish No.1 was pleased with his performance over the weekend and went on to predict a very close match against a USA side that has already won twice away from home on clay this season.

Melzer, meanwhile, was proud of his Austrian team’s efforts to send the tie into the final day on their return to the quarterfinals of the Davis Cup by BNP Paribas for the first time in 17 years.

The two captains - Spain's Alex Corretja and Austria's Clemens Trimmel - also give their thoughts on the weekend.
