CORDOBA, SPAIN: Rafael Nadal talks about his 63 60 61 win over Richard Gasquet which put Spain 1-0 ahead in its semifinal battle with France.

Nadal, who reached the final of the US Open which was delayed until Monday, is not in the best physical condition but that didn't show in today's match when he totally dominated the French No. 2, overcoming Gasquet in two hours and nine minutes.

David Ferrer reflects on his straight sets victory over Gilles Simon while captain Albert Costa is pleased with his players' performances but knows there is still a long way to go.

France's captain Guy Forget is understandably disappointed after today's performance but is well aware of how things can change in Davis Cup.
