GIJON, SPAIN: Spanish team captain Alex Corretja talks about his team's chances against the visiting USA team in Gijon. In his first year as captain the team have reached the semifinals and he is looking to overcome the visiting Americans and move through to the final for a second successive year.
By contast USA captain Jim Courier reflects on his team's outstanding performances this year which has seen them overcome a Roger Federer-lead Switzerland in Switzerland, and a full strength French team in Monte Carlo. He has full confidence in his team, particularly as they all "serve big".
