HAMBURG, GERMANY: Cedrik-Marcel Stebe focused on his own game today against Aussie Lleyton Hewitt, and once the nerves subsided he played his best tennis. The German won the fifth rubber to clinch victory for his team over Australia in Hamburg to stave off relegation.

His captain Patrik Kuhnen was very happy with the way his team performed this weekend, and the very good team spirit among them. He called Stebe a 'tough cookie'.

Aussie captain Patrick Rafter comments on what an exceptional player Florian Mayer is and how well Stebe played today. He will sit down with the Davis Cup team coach Tony Roche to look at the positives from this weekend.
