PRAGUE, CZECH REPUBLIC: David Ferrer outsmarted Tomas Berdych 62 63 75 in the first reverse singles to keep Spain alive in this Davis Cup Final, and despite playing and winning more matches than anyone else on the tour this year, showed no signs of slowing down.

Contrary to popular belief around the media room, Tomas Berdych revealed that he wasn't feeling that bad physically at all after a gruelling first two days and that his opponent was simply 'too good'.
