HAMBURG, GERMANY: Bernard Tomic and Cedrik-Marcel Stebe reflect on their four-set tussle in the opening rubber in Hamburg which saw the Australian claim the win.

Tomic was pleased with his performance, particularly as clay is not his strongest surface, and reveals how he kept his focus in a match which was full of breaks of serve.

Stebe talks of his delight at being given the opportunity to play a live Davis Cup rubber for the first time and how he enjoyed the experience.

Germany captain Patrik Kuhnen considers the result to be fair given the way both teams play and Florian Mayer explains what he will be doing after play today.
