  • Longest Run of Wins by a Nation – by ties

    USA dominated the Davis Cup competition between 1968-1973, winning 17 consecutive ties and five successive Davis Cup titles. Their long run, which began with a 5-0 victory over Caribbean/West Indies in the 1968 American Zone First Round, came to an end in 1973 when Australia defeated USA 5-0 in the Final Round.
