Next tie 11-16 July 2016
Jamaica will compete in Americas Zone Group III in 2016 for a fifth consecutive year.
Last tie 20-25 July 2015
Jamaica advanced to a promotion play-off after finishing second in Pool B, but were beaten 2-0 by Paraguay, leaving them in Group III for another year. In the group stage, Jamaica defeated Bermuda 2-1, lost to Guatemala by the same scoreline and then cruised past Trinidad & Tobago 3-0 to set up a crucial final group tie with Bahamas for second place. Brandon Burke and Rowland Phillips won the deciding doubles rubber in three sets to put Jamaica in with a chance of promotion. But they lost both singles matches to Paraguay, with the first being a tough, three-set thriller.
The best performance for Jamaica came on its Davis Cup debut in 1988, when it reached the Americas Zone semifinals.
