| Same team for the USA yet again |
United States Davis Cup team captain Patrick McEnroe has named his team that will face Spain in Madrid on September 19-21.
Amazingly once again it will be Andy Roddick, James Blake, Bob and Mike Bryan. It is the 11th time in a that these players have made up the United States team since 2005. They hold the record for the most consecutive times a United States team has remained intact. The previous record was three.
"I guess they just care a lot," said Patrick McEnroe, the captain. "They are great team guys." He added, "winning the title last year has taken a lot of pressure off of these guys. It promises to be a memorable event, facing probably the greatest clay court player of all-time (world No. 1 Rafael Nadal) on red clay in a Spanish bull ring filled with more than 20,000 fans."
