| Del Potro to lead Argentina's quarterfinal |
Argentine captain Tito Vazquez has announced his squad for Argentina's upcoming Davis Cup quarterfinal against Czech Republic on 10-12 July, with recent Roland Garros semifinalist Juan Martin del Potro leading the charge.
Del Potro, who will re-join the squad for the first time since losing the 2008 final, will be joined by Juan Monaco, Jose Acasuso and Davis Cup debutant Leonardo Mayer in the Czech city of Ostrava. Their henchman, David Nalbandian, will still be recovering from hip surgery.
Official nominations for the tie will be announced on Tuesday 30 June, although Tomas Berdych and Radek Stepanek are expected to be included in the Czech Republic's line-up.
The two nations last met in the first round in 2005, when Argentina defeated the Czechs 5-0 in Buenos Aires. Both will be bidding for a place in September's semifinals, where Argentina has been for three of the past four years. The Czechs haven't reached the last four since 1996.
