The Davis Cup provides a wonderful opportunity for its partners to access the global community on an international, national and local level. Sponsors look to harness the passion, emotion and heritage associated with the event when delivering their own message to domestic markets around the world, and the fact that Davis Cup is primarily shown on terrestrial television allows sponsors to reach as wide an audience as possible in many markets.
Global financial group BNP Paribas is now in its sixth year as the Title Sponsor and Official Bank of Davis Cup in 2007. It was an apt quirk of fate which took the Davis Cup Final to Paris, where the Bank's Global Headquarters are situated, in 2002, the first year of BNP Paribas's Title Sponsorship.
Hugo Boss has provided clothing to teams, players, VIPs, event staff, officials and ball boys and girls since 1987 as an Official Worldwide Sponsor.
Wilson also joined as an Official Partner to the event and manufacturer of the Official Davis Cup tennis balls, and in 2006 extendxed that agreement through 2008.
2003 saw Kia Motors become an International Sponsor, as well as the Official Car of all Davis Cup ties, including the World Group, staged in the Euro/African Zone. In 2004, a new agreement extended the relationship between Kia and the ITF to cover global sponsorship of this major competition. Since the beginning of 2004, Kia has also been the Official Car of the entire competition.
NH Hoteles, a leader in European business hotels, is an International Sponsor and Official Hotel of the Davis Cup by BNP Paribas.
NTT Communications joined at the start of 2005 as an Official Partner, providing Managed Hosting for Daviscup.com. NTT Communications Group is a leading Global provider of business communications services.
TTK, the Italian clothing company, joined as an International Partner of Davis Cup. As an Official Licensing Partner of Davis Cup, TTK has received the international license to create a special line of tennis clothing and footwear with the Davis Cup trademark, which will soon be launched and promoted in the main markets. In addition, the company will provide all footwear assigned to linespeople, ballkids and staff on site at Davis Cup World Group and World Group Play-off ties.
Rolex joined the Davis Cup family of sponsors in 2007 as Official Timekeeper of the event. Turismo Madrid became part of the Davis Cup family of sponsors in 2008 as the Official Destination of the Davis Cup.The Davis Cup partnership programme provides each of these companies with tailored benefits - enabling them to achieve their marketing and promotional goals at every Davis Cup tie and all-year round.
