Next tie
Croatia will compete in the World Group first round in March. The draw for next year’s Davis Cup is being made in Brussels on 22 September.

Last tie
Croatia lost to Serbia 4-1 in an historic World Group quarterfinal tie in Split. It was the first meeting between the two former Yugoslavian nations.

History
Croatia became the first unseeded nation to win the title, when it defeated Slovak Republic 3-2 in the 2005 Final in Bratislava. Prior to 1992, Croatian players represented Yugoslavia.
