Next tie Puerto Rico will compete in Americas Zone Group II in 2011 for the first time in seven years, following promotion from Group III. The draw for next year’s Davis Cup is being held in Brussels on 22 September.
Last tie Puerto Rico was promoted after finishing top of Americas Zone Group III. It remained undefeated throughout the week-long event at home in San Juan.
History Puero Rico’s best performance was in 1993, when it reached the final round of Americas Zone Group II.
