First competed in Davis Cup in 2007; formerly competed as Serbia & Montenegro 2004-6, and before that Yugoslavia (1927-2003).

Upon break-up of Yugoslavia, the constituent republics competed in their own right from 1993 onwards with Serbia & Montenegro continuing under the name of Yugoslavia until 2004.

(*applies to Serbia as an independent nation, Yugoslavia reached the World Group semifinals in 1988, 1989 and 1991.)
