Organisation

The Paralympic Games are run and organised by a local organisation - LOCOG at London 2012 - who take overall control of venues, competition and logistics for both the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

The London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) was established in October 2005, just months after the announcement that the city would host the Games in 2012, and were the body responsible for delivering the Games.

LOCOG and the ITF worked in partnership on the organisation of the wheelchair tennis event to ensure it ran to the highest possible standard. If you have any questions regarding wheelchair tennis at the Paralympic Games, please contact us via email.
